Blogging after a long time.....well the past few weeks have been great...alot to recap but very little time...I blogged today because tomorrow is TEACHER'S DAY..I would like to wish Ms.Siva & all my other Teachers who might be viewing this blog anonymously a very happy TEACHER'S DAY..all you guys have been great...I appreciate that you people have put up with all our nonsense...Ms.Siva thnx for not only being my CHEM,V.E & FORM Teacher but also for changing my mindset on dance....I know its not all bout popping locking or just even Hip Hop...There are other styles of dancing....but still i am waiting for a dance off haha!!!!

In Loving Memory Of The King Of Pop 1958-2009.Michael Jackson was always imitated and impersonated but never will he be dupilcated.In his beautiful 50 year life,he gave us his great music and unbelievable dances.Not only did he do his part for the music industry he also did his part for the world.Artists came up being inspired by him,millions of people grew up watching him perform.At this moment of time i would like to thank GOD for giving us Michael Jackson.Also I want to ask GOD why did he take him back when he still had more to give to the world?. Even though he has left this world,Michael Jackson is still living in the hearts of his fans.It will be more peaceful where he has gone to now.

I guess most of you people know about e crazy show JACKASS.For those of you who do not it is a stunt/comedy show with features a crazy cast who do not like school nor work so they do such stuff.You maybe wana search their name on YOUTUBE for their videos or visit their website http://www.jackassworld.com/ They even have 3 movies.In all of their wild cast my favourite would be STEVE-O.He is the wildest of them all.He is an university drop out with a diploma in clown school.He is a drug addict and a outrageous alcoholic + he got the sickest tattoos....INCLUDING A PICTURE OF HIMSELF ON HIS BACK....Come on who is wilder than dat?

POST EXAM SOCCER MATCH

TODAE part of post exam activities we had INTERCLASS SOCCER MATCH........AFTER practically TRASHING teams haha we came in 3rd PLACE!!!!!!! NOT BAD WAT!!!
VIVA LA ALTOS!!!!!....................KARTHIK SHOULD BE HAPPY SEEING THIS HAHA...
Then even if we when we were HUNGRY we still went DOWN to the BATTLE OF THE BANDS competition TO SUPPORT ALFI......ALFI went all romantic singing and playing HIS GUITAR...WONDER WHO HE WAS THINKING ABOUT LOL.......END of it the day was not bad....HOLIDAYS ARE COMING SO PEOPLE PLEASE SPEND YOUR TIME WISELY BY PLAYING SOCCER,VIDEO GAMES AND CHAT WITH GIRLS IN MSN or if u are a girl CHAT WIF GUYS ON MSN AITE!!! The use of alternative medicine is becoming very widespread.
Why might this be so?
- Can you think of some advantages to of different approaches to treatment?
- Why might alternative medicine cause concern for some people?

Alternative medicine,as in like reflexology and stuff like that.
I think it grows due to the growth of religions and beliefs.
The main cause would be belief.
Just like some people believe acupuncture helps in healing while others believe ayurvedha(INDIAN TREATMENT INVOLVING HERBS)
helps in healing.
It depends on how the mind reacts to different treatments.
Just like what MISS.CHEE said,''If you believe it works then it will.''
It could spread also due to religious legends involving the certain treatment.
This might also change the mindsets of people.
There are also advantages in these alternative treatments.
While western treatments mostly involve machines which we might have see in
''MEN IN BLACK'' or ''ALIEN vs PREDATOR'',most alternative treatments involve natural items.
For eg.herbs and spices might have hidden qualities that might even help prevent injuries rather than curing them.
It might cause concern for some people as they might think alternative treatments are
dangerous and risky.
Anyway how is putting your body under a machine that can be considered a weapon safe?However some people might even be allergic to some alternatives treatments involving herbs or natural products.

Tell me about a time when you suffered from an injury or were in pain.
- Desribe the treatment you received .
- What might you do to relieve the pain or discomfort of an injury?

When i was primary 2 , i dropped of my bike while cycling.
I heard a sound just like how it sounds like when breaking a ''KIT-KAT'' bar.
As it was a sound i was quite familiar to,i knew it was an fracture in my arm.
But for a change this time i was brought to a chinese reflexolgy sort of guy.
Not really sure what the treatment was called.
If i were the guy i would name it ''The press where it hurts and cause more pain treatment''.
Obviously you all would know that it really hurt.
However strangely it really helped alot.
The pain started to ease down after the first session of
treatment!!!!!!
After the many sessions of healing pain i myself press really hard on the injury whenever i am injured nowadays.Except for cuts of course!
If it is a cut i usually wash it and rinse with soap then apply a plaster.
Weird enough but sometimes after putting the plaster it is a little fun to
press the wound.
I guess i get some sorta kick out of it.

Do you think singapore(as a society) takes care of our poor?

YES,yes it does.I might say only about 3-6% of the population needs financial help.This is due to the care given by the GOVERNMENT
and the rest of the population of SINGAPORE towards our needy.Nowadays more and more people are making donations and they also
help by regularly taking part in charity drives.However there is also nothing wrong in helping the needy people individually.For eg.we can
give $2 to the ah mah selling tissue paper under our flats instead of paying just$1 for the tissue.Small deed but makes a difference on what
the ah mah eats for lunch!!!!

Do you think it can eradicate poverty altogether?

I think it is a 50/50 thing.Not all the needy families around the world will get the money nor the chance of making a living.Some
families might just use the money to buy the needs of that period of time.eg.groceries.It is not all their fault as they have suffered alot
in life and the small amount of cash is really big to them so they might not use it wisely.Maybe the organisations giving the money can
just buy them the items they need to make a living to make sure the money is put to good use.Ontop of that they should also make sure
they do not sell the items away for money,by doing regular checks.

What do you think is microfinancing?

Hmm k let me just act like i did not GOOGLE up the word MICROFINANCING.

I think its a word describing a very clever way of helping needy families.

Maybe needy families from thirth world countries like BANGLADESH.

I think it works like a cyle.

The needy people get a amount of cash,they find out a way to earn a living by using the cash and eventually contribute back to the society.

The happy thing is that they are now able to stand on their own to feet or feets if it is a family.

The smart part is that we are not just spoon feeding them,we are helping them make a living and that is just great!!!!!!!!!
